The International Honors Program, founded as the International School of America in 1958, gives students an unequaled opportunity to study overseas in multiple countries for one year or a semester. The International Honors Program is a program of World Learning / SIT, a 75-year-old nonprofit organization that operates experiential education and community-driven development projects in more than 70 countries.
In each program, about thirty students are selected carefully. Students are from different backgrounds and different American universities. In 2015, the students will have an opportunity to study in three countries; i.e. Vietnam, South Africa and Argentina. And this program will be organized in Hanoi, Vietnam from 18/01 – 16/02/2015.
In order to learn about each destination’s culture, IHP arranges for students to stay in local homes and communities. Therefore, we are looking for a number of Vietnamese families in Hanoi who want to be a host family. Host family has to have some basic requirements of the program as follows:
- Ability to provide a bedroom with full needed facilities.
- At least one family member can speak English and always ready to talk with your students.
- Students can travel from host family to classroom less than 45 minutes.
The cost of accommodation and travel for students or other costs relatedto sickness, accidents will be paid by IHP program.
Institute of Population, Health and Development would like to welcome your participation.
